Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Recruiter to join our HR department and play a key role in expanding our IT teams. As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for technical roles, creating a shortlist of qualified individuals, and engaging with potential candidates to enhance our employer brand. Your focus will be on reducing our time-to-hire and ensuring we attract top talent.
Majority of our clientele is from the Americas. You are expected to schedule/attend interviews across time zones from that region (either India morning hours or late evening India hours).By building a robust tech talent pipeline, you will contribute to the successful recruitment and retention of highly skilled professionals for our IT positions. Join our team and help shape our organization’s future through effective talent acquisition and management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Write and post technical job descriptions.
  2. Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github.
  3. Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes.
  4. Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities.
  5. Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions).
  6. Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs.
  7. Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.
  8. Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals.
  9. Compose job offer letters.
  10. Onboard new hires.
  11. Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work.
  12. Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements.
  13. Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products.

Requirements and skills:

  1. Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter.
  2. Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Skype and structured).
  3. Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
  4. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
  5. Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search).
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation.
  8. BSc/MBA in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree.
